Written by capecoralsun
This museum is a physical chronicle of transformative moments in our nation’s history. It features exhibits from the Revolutionary and Civil Wars, World War I and II, the Korean and Vietnam Wars, the Gulf Wars and wars in Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan. There is a tribute to women who have served in the military, as well as a Holocaust Memorial. If you want to go way back, there is even a rare dinosaur egg on display. There is a musket from the Battle at Gettysburg, other weapons and ammunition of all types and sizes from each war, a rare collection of military uniforms, aviation devices and an original Jeep and bicycle from World War II. This Resource Center and Museum was founded in the midst of the social turmoil of 2020. The Brotherhood of Heroes Museum hopes to educate the community as well as honor first responders and military service personnel through our exhibits that capture the dramatic events that shaped our nation. The Brotherhood of Heroes Resource Center is committed to helping first responders, military both active and veterans alike, their families, and the Cape Coral community. The Brotherhood of Heroes frequently hosts events to benefit the community, and actively partners with many community-based organizations. For many, getting the help they need is a simple visit or phone call away. Whether you are paying your respects at our Purple Heart Monument, taking in one of our breathtaking exhibits, using the resource center’s services, or celebrating your birthday with us, The Brotherhood of Heroes Resource Center and Museum will show you not only how the world has impacted Cape Coral, but how Cape Coral has impacted the world.

From August 1942 through February 1943, more than two million troops fought in close quarters – and nearly two million people were killed or injured in the fighting, including tens of thousands of Russian civilians. Willys Jeep A focal point of the museum is a 1945 Willys Jeep. It was found on a farm in Lancaster County, Pa., before being fully restored. After World War II, many Jeeps were used like tractors for farm work. In addition to being used in World War II, this Jeep was also used by Lancaster County fire department.
